Welcome to ENG 120, Reading and Writing Short Stories. I am happy to be teaching this class and I hope you're happy to be taking it. We're going to read all sorts of different stories, and you'll be writing a few as well, and we'll be talking about everything.
This blog is a place where you can relax, let your hair down and discuss the published stories (not the student ones, please!) freely. There is no pressure to come up with anything scholarly or "sophisticated." I hope you have thoughtful things to say, or ask about, and I look forward to reading everyone's unvarnished opinions.
Each week, I will be looking for a comment or response from each of you about one of the published stories we read.
Because we are all sharing a username and password, remember to identify yourself at the top of each post. That way we'll know who is saying what. Thanks.
